My lovely friends and I have started this book club as a way of bonding on an intellectual level.  Reading good books and having fun and productive discussions, as well as a little socializing, is the goal. 

I’m excited about our upcoming meeting discussion to be held on Wednesday, November 20^th at 7 p.m. CST / 8 p.m. EST (check e-mail for calendar invite and dial-in information).  For our 1^st book, we’re reading Sheryl Sandberg’s “Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead” to examine why women’s progress in achieving leadership roles has stalled, explains the root causes, and offers compelling, commonsense solutions that can empower women to achieve their full potential.  After our discussion we will discuss future books to read and preferred mix and topics.
